Review by hotel critic
My journey to Aparthotel Lodz 55 Piotrkowska was a mix of highs and lows. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the vibrant city, surrounded by charming street murals and diverse dining options, perfect for exploring Srodmiescie's artistic and culinary scene. The room, though compact, was tastefully furnished with dark leather armchairs, exuding a cozy ambiance that resonated with my appreciation for classic aesthetics. However, our stay took an unexpected turn when a blocked drain pipe caused a minor flooding incident in the bathroom. Despite the inconvenience, the staff promptly addressed the issue and relocated us to another room, albeit with our belongings slightly damp. The offer of a complimentary breakfast the next morning was a small gesture that partially made amends for the disruption.Throughout our short stay, the 24/7 reception was a convenient feature that catered to our flexible schedule, allowing us to settle in promptly upon early arrival. The variety of facilities within the building, including the enticing Czekolada club in the backyard, offered entertainment options for downtime, although noisy neighbors did disrupt our sleep quality on one occasion.Despite these setbacks, the warm hospitality of the staff and the hotel's prime location made it a worthwhile base for our exploration of Łódź. With easy access to public transportation and private parking options available at a reasonable cost, Aparthotel Lodz 55 Piotrkowska is a suitable choice for travelers seeking a balance between affordability and convenience in this dynamic city.
